It's summertime!!

I feel like I'm coming out of hibernation.

Birthday Parties! Weekends away! Weddings! Sun! BBQs!

Let me just say that The View from Here is becoming one of my favorite blogs. Anyway, he links to a friend of his, Shai, who gives a list of 56 things that makes Israel Israel.

I love #33.

Perfect weather

for a BBQ last night.

Thanks to MB for braving the fire escape in a downpour to create a Yom Ha'atzmaut feast. Who says that it has to be nice outside to have a barbeque?

This is somewhat of a pathetic observation, but it's good to be reminded that just talking things out with a good friend helps tremendously. Because being there for everyone else takes more of a toll than you realize. Just a reminder to everyone that when you think you have no one to talk to, take a gamble and trust your friends to be there for you.

Should be intuitive, but sometimes I need reminding.

In and out of context

My friend was IM'g me today, and I was telling her how lousy my day has been. She IM'd me back, but oops. She mistakenly entered it into one of her male co-worker's IM windows, instead of mine.

What did she say?

'look at mine and u'll feel better'

Getting my frustrations out

After a weekend where nothing went wrong, but I was just left discouraged, I went back to a great outlet this morning.

Jon, I finally beat your score: I got 587.1! And it only took me 2 months.

Ha!

all by myself

I did my taxes, all by myself, with just two items confirmed by TK, accountant extraordinaire. Now all I need is to find a printer, so I can get them printed and sent by tomorrow. Maybe I'll just buy a new one. Though that might not happen by tonight, seeing how work is going so far today.

I need a vacation.

Erik's story

Link to an article of someone I went to college with, who was injured in a January bus bombing in Jerusalem.

Chag Kasher v'Sameach

It's snowing here. Very pretty, but I'm not so happy with my sister who said all I needed to bring home was a light winter jacket. On the other had, maybe it's just my perception of what a light winter jacket is that's changed.

Enjoy
